Monday News
Hello Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed the warm weather this weekend. I spent
the weekend in Maine for a wedding, but I was able to sneak in a walk on the
beach.
Last week was busy. Our class created our hopes and dreams and classroom
rules. We also started our stamps for positive acknowledgements. We’ll continue
to get to know each other this week and build our classroom community. We had nutrition
with Alison and personalized our Writer’s Notebooks.
Mrs. Mitchell will be in our classroom on Thursday conducting a
survey for her graduate project. Parents, please sign the consent form for Mrs.
Mitchell’s research. Mrs. Mitchell’s baby boy is due on September 20th.
I know the fourth graders will be excited to see her!
Important Dates to Remember:

Homework:
Read each night for a minimum of 20-30 minutes. This can include

Please enjoy books alone and with each other. Find a comfy place in the house
and make reading a daily routine that everyone looks forward to!

from Mrs. Carter
4th graders – math pages from Mrs. Aitken
Homework is due Friday, September 11th
