Dear Families,

We will go to Sleepy Hollow Ski Area on Thursday from 8:30-11. If you, or a family member is interested in chaperoning, please let me know.

The book project for February will be due March 8th.

The trimester ends on Friday, so I will be assessing all week. Please let me know if your child will not be at school.

Dear Families,

Thank you all for the quick response when we decided to bring the students to Sleepy Hollow Ski Area on Thursday. The conditions were a little tricky, but the children worked hard and had a lot of fun. 

This week is "I Love to Read and Write Week". Please let me know if you'd like to read to the class. On Monday, Jason Chin, an author and illustrator will hold an hour long workshop with our class! 

We will have Kinderbuddies on Wednesday. The third and fourth graders will be able to read a book to their kinderbuddy that they enjoyed when they were little. If students do not have a book at home to bring in, they may look in the library. 

We will have a small Valentine's Day exchange on February 14th. Here is a class list for valentines.

Dear Families,

We will have Global School Play Day on Wednesday. Click here to read more about Global School Play Day.

We may have to cancel cross-country skiing due to the snow conditions this week. We will decide Thursday morning.

On Friday, we will lead All School Morning Meeting and then go to the Flynn Theater to see Danny Carmo's Mathematical Mysteries. 

Next week is "I Love to Read and Write Week". We will have book-themed lunches and have guest author, Jason Chin join us on Monday. Click here to read more about Jason Chin. If you would like to read to the class, please contact me. We are looking for readers that want to read a book that they loved as a child to the class.
