Dear Families,
I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. I spent Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania with family.
We are starting our informational writing unit and our non-fiction reading unit.
On Wednesday, we will start nutrition with Alison. This will be every Wednesday for 15 minutes. I will be out on Wednesday for a math meeting and Ms. Scudder-Chase will be the guest teacher.
On Thursday, we will head to the Audubon for a lesson about winter wildlife. Please send your child to school with enough clothing to spend the day outside (10am-2pm). We will have lunch in the educational barn at Audubon.

Monday News
Dear Families,
The book fair is this week! Proceeds help pay for for our visiting author, Jason Chin.
On Tuesday, we will take the students to the polls to ¨vote¨. Physical education will be outside on Tuesday, so please send appropriate clothing for your child to be outside on Tuesday and Thursday (outdoor day).
A new book project was sent home on Friday. Please click here to see the directions and rubric.
Square 1 Art orders for PIE are due Tuesday, November 6th, either by paper (turned into the PIE box), phone, or online.
