We are going to be making tea cups for our tea ritual on Fridays, but it will not be for a few weeks. We have been using disposable cups. If you are able, please have your child bring a coffee mug or tea cup to school before Friday. We will wash and store the cups at school until we make our tea cups.
We will start Star Students this week. The Star Student celebrations will be a little different this year than they have been in the past. Each day, we will have a different Star Student. The Star Student will:
- Lead morning meeting and decide on the greeting and activity.
- Get a special stadium chair as their seat for the day.
- Have a lunch bunch and invite a couple friends.
- At the end of the day, choose a GoNoodle.
- Have a poster created about them that the class helps to create. The poster will go home at the end of the school year.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be the week of October 14th. Please let me know if you did not receive the email to sign-up. There will not be school for students on October 18th.
