HIKE DAY 2018!!!

Dear Families,

We have started our morning work routine. Morning work is from 7:25-7:40. Here is the morning work schedule:

Monday - Moby Max Monday (Fact fluency)
Tuesday - Typing Tuesday (Edutyping, keyboarding skills)
Wednesday - Cursive
Thursday - Star Student Pages and pack blue bags for Outdoor Day
Friday - Desk Cleaning and Organizing Day

Unfortunately, students that arrive at 7:40 miss the morning work. If your child comes at 7:40 and you would like him or her to do 15 minutes of the morning work once/week, please contact me. Students always have the option to do more of the morning work tasks at home.

If you have not signed up for a conference time yet, please email me with some days and times that work well for your family and I will try to accommodate you.

Wednesday is late start this week.

I will be at a conference in Killington on Thursday with Sally Hayes, Heather Godin, Chrissy Driver, and Kristin Bair-Cummings. During outdoor time, the students will work on identifying the trees in our outdoor classroom. We will be using these trees to help us answer the following focus questions:

  • In what ways do organisms look similar and different?
  • Where do differences and similarities in traits come from?
  • Does the environment cause similarities and differences?
Enjoy your week,

Mrs. Carter
