Monday News

Dear Families,

Welcome back! We are in our final stretch of the school year.

The students will be presenting their biome projects to each other during social studies. Each student has become an expert on one biome and they will present their information to the class.

We are finishing up our opinion unit and will be starting another narrative unit in writing. Our focus in reading will be on the genre, mystery. This genre is very fun and the students will have the opportunity to read lots of mysteries in class.

During the next couple weeks, the students will be practicing for SBAC testing. They will become comfortable with the computer format of the testing and composing an essay on the computer.

Before break, the students made large paper flowers with their kinderbuddies. They are hanging in the school gym.
