This Week's News

Dear Families,

The 3/4 teachers have observed how putty is being used and we have made a decision that the use is more of a distraction than a benefit. There has also been putty found stuck to rugs and there has been issues with students taking other students' putty. We are asking your support in having your child keep it at home or in their backpack for after school use only. This applies to fidget spinners as well. We do have flex balls for students who need a tool. Thank you for understanding.

The puppet book projects are due on Friday. Once the students have presented their puppets, the puppets will be in the display case when you walk in the school.

In writing, we are finishing up our informational pieces. Our next unit will be opinion writing. We will start the unit reading persuasive writing.

Please sign-up for a conference if you have not already.

Thanks,
Mrs. Carter
